As the Fragrance Wafts From The Kitchen...

Well, Sue, we've been waiting all day for that cherry crisp to come out of the oven, but it was worth it. Here it is in all its golden glory.

Knowing Sue, she probably used an antique cherry pitter to get the stones out. And it probably worked as well or better than anything we'd find today. When did you last see a cherry pitter for sale?

MMMMMMM. Cherries. I am still eating my way through this year's crop. I just realized this may be my last cherry season in Oregon.

I've never owned a cherry pitter, always used a bobbie pin. Do you young people even know what that is???

I wish I was there to eat some of that delicious dessert!

Mmmm.

Steve - Didn't your mommy tell you if you scarf down three pounds of cherries at a sitting you might get a tummy ache?

Nancy - I can't even imagine how a bobby pin would do the job. But then, I've never pitted cherries, just ate them straight off the stone.

Paul - of Paul and Nancy? Get Nancy cook you up one. Muy fácil y rapido!
